Meet our pastor
I’m Cheryl and I am pastor of the Clay Cross Community of Christ. I hope that whatever day of the week, during whatever activity, each person feels welcome in our safe, sacred space and feels welcomed into relationships, with each other and with God. When I asked people from our church what they felt we had to offer their replies included – friendship, healing, hope, encouragement, laughter and love. I hope you will discover this for yourself if you choose to meet with us.
What are Sundays like?
- Morning worship 11am: Singing, prayers, chats and talks on a weekly theme.
- Messy church, usually the 2nd Sunday of the month, 11am – 1.15 pm: All age fun, Bible-themed activities and food.
- Study Breakfast, usually 1st Sunday of the month, 9.15 – 10.45 am: Ask questions, share answers.

Arrival: The main entrance is at the front of the building on the left-hand side. Once inside go through the double doors for weekday activities. Sunday worship is usually through more doors on the right.
Dress code: Whatever you feel comfortable in.

- Peacemakers (Reception – Year 7): Monday 6.30pm (term-time)
- Bean Still – Food & Chat: 10am – Noon, Wednesday
- Foodbank: Friday 1pm
- Games Night: 7pm, Friday (once a month)
- Annual weekend away together
